~Welcome to Glass Lake City Limits~
Sayble woke up that morning on the roof of Wal-Mart with an obnoxiously large crowd of zombies below. While this wasn’t exactly an encouraging sight, at least it meant that Silence, or any other wraith for that matter, wasn’t any where near. What was not as good was that she would have a harder time getting her supplies into the van and just getting out of the area in general… While zombies were completely mindless, they did have a tendency to coagulate, it was like they were drawn together by a magnet, and that magnet was living flesh. Hers to be specific. So the longer she waited, the harder it would be to leave. With a sigh she pulled her supplies over to the back ledge and made sure she had all her belongings stored up. The first task would be to get back on the van and open the top hatch, the second to get back up the building. She wasn’t quite sure she could make the jump but heck… it wasn’t like she didn’t have all day to try. Without waiting any longer she jumped, and very easily made it. The undead hoard swarmed about her, decaying arms reaching almost blindly. Sayble just shook her head, she was under no real threat as she sat above them like his, the van was really more like a semi, the top reaching a full thirteen feet at least. The outside was reinforces with steel, and sharp edged pieces of metal overlapping and jutting out from the sides helped her blow through and get rid of many of the zombies in her way. She also installed a heavy plow in the front, raised and lowered when needed depending on how many were around. She had relied on her van for several years now, and no doubt would be long dead without it. Slipping through the top hatch she started it up and turned on the heat. It had been getting colder as she went north, which is what she had hoped for. If what she assumed about the zombies undead bodies was right then they would all freeze and no longer be a threat to her until the coming of summer. “Hurray for snow….” She muttered as the cold wind bit through her long sleeved turtleneck with a vengeance. “Now here to hoping I don’t freeze to death as well.”
Zombies, and Vampires, and Wraiths! Oh my!
